Ghana’s U20 team have arrived in Algeria to begin their campaign in the African Youth Championships.
The Black Satellites arrived in the North African country on Wednesday night ahead of the commencement of the tournament on Saturday.
The team wrapped up its preparations for the competition with a 1 -1 draw against the youth team of Barcelona on Tuesday.
The side had already secured a 3-2 win over the youth team of Novara in their first friendly game in Italy last week.
Head coach Sellas Tetteh has the full compliments of his team ahead of the start of the biannual event following the late arrival of Maritzburg United winger Frank Sarfo-Gyamfi.
Ghana will face hosts Algeria, Egypt and Benin in group A.
The Black Satellites are desirous of winning their fourth African crown after exiting the first round in the last edition in South Africa. ‘
