Ghana U20 striker Francis Narh must pass a late fitness test to play in Friday’s final Group A clash against hosts Algeria.
Narh is suffering from exhaustion after a spirited display in the 1-0 win over Benin on Tuesday in Ain Temouchent.
The Tema Youth player has been doing low runs in the team’s last two training sessions.
The 18-year-old will undergo a functional capacity test which involves drills that mimic the work to be done on the pitch but on a medical couch.
“He has a 90 percent chance of playing and if he eats well tonight, he will be fit to play but he will be fine,” Ghana team doctor Prince Pambo
Narh was named Man-of-the-Match in Ghana’s last match.
