Ghana Under-20 midfielder Seidu Salifu says he is waiting patiently for a call-up into the Black Stars.
The All Stars enforcer is been touted as one of the U20 players expected to be promoted into the Ghanaian senior national team after impressing at the 2013 FIFA World Youth Championship in Turkey.
The Besiktas target says he is waiting in the wings for a call-up into the Black Stars ahead of future matches.
“I am ready to play for the Black Stars and therefore waiting for my chance to impress,” Salifu said
“I have been training seriously and I believe when I get the chance I won’t disappoint.
“It is the dream of every player to play abroad. My focus is to get a foreign deal so I can improve my talent.
“The national team is for every Ghanaian player and I believe I have what it takes to play at the top level for the Black Stars.”
Salifu, highly regarded as carbon-copy of Michael Essien, was one of the country’s brightest spot at the global showpiece in Turkey where his performance earned rave reviews.
