Ghana U20 midfielder Joseph Alfred Duncan was named the most valuable player for the match after helping Livorno keep their promotion ambitions in sight with a 2-0 win over Vicenza on Saturday.

The 20-year-old steered the middle for Davide Nicola's men and was involved in the sequences of play that resulted in both goals.

Duncan, an Inter Milan loanee has been dominating the headlines in the Serie B since moving to Livorno in January, attracting huge interest from most Serie A top clubs.

Saturday's performance against relegation-trapped - Vicenza, was one of his inspirational contributions that has propelled Livorno, who have just two games to seal an automatic promotion.

He was rated 7.5 by the match analysts.

The 2012 NextGen Series winner has been named in Sellas Tetteh's squad preliminary 41-man squad for the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup which comes off in Turkey in June.

Cagliari, Sampdoria, Napoli and a couple of top-flight Italian sides as well as English side Norwich City have all been linked with the powerful starlet.
