Ghana’s Under-20 are making arrangements to play Barcelona’s youth team in a pre-2013 African Youth Championship warm up match.

The Black Satellites will camp in Catalonya for ten days after trimming the rough edges in the Italian city of Novara for five days.

In Italy, the intend to play either Serie B side Novara or AC Milan’s Primavera side before heading to Spain.

“The coach says he wants to play two matches and so we have Barcelona B side, Espanyol B side, AC Milan B side and the Novara Serie B team,” Ghana U20 management committee head George Afriyie said.

“We are hoping to get two out of the four and so once we get to Italy, we will sit down with the organizers and see how we can put these things together and see how to get a strong warm-up match that will bring the best out of the boys.”

Ghana will play hosts Algeria, Benin and Egypt at the tournament which will run from 16 -30 March.
