Ghana U20 name 28 players for final African Youth Championship qualifier

Ghana U20 coach Sellas Tetteh has called up 28 players to prepare for their final 2015 African Youth Championship qualifier against Gabon.

The players selected are all locally based and were some of exciting youngsters from last season’s Ghana Premier League.

The team will be camped at the Jerfkings Palace Hotel in Adenta and train at the Presec Park in Legon.

The two-leg third round qualifier will be played in August with the winner advancing to the finals to be staged by Senegal.

The first leg will be played on the weekend of 15-17 August with the return scheduled for 29-30 August.

Seven winners will join hosts, Senegal for the Championship slated for 8-22 March 2015.
