Anthony Manison has been training with Kaizer Chiefs.

South African Premier Soccer League champions Kaizer Chiefs are assessing Ghanaian teenager Anthony Manison.

The 19-year-old former Rayo Vallecano centre-back trained with the Amakhosi for the first time on Tuesday.

Manison told the club's official website: "I enjoyed training today. It was my first training and the guys were all friendly towards me.

"It is difficult to compare the training here to that of Spain as it was my first session with the team.

"I saw some intelligent moves from the players and we trained at a high level. I am happy to trial here. I know a lot about Kaizer Chiefs. I watched them on DSTV from home in Ghana from the age of 15.

"I am hoping to impress the technical team here and get an opportunity to play for one of the biggest sides in the continent."

Manison was a member of Ghana's 20 squad but could not make the final squad for the World Cup in Turkey.
