Coach Konadu wants the Black Satellites to win big against Morocco

By Patrick Akoto

Ghana’s U20 coach Maxwell Konadu has charged his players to record a massive win in the first leg of the 2013 African Youth qualifier against Morocco this weekend.

The Ghanaians battle the North African side at the Tamale Stadium, were aware they need to win convincinghly to make the second leg a mere formality.

The assistant Black Stars coach says he is eager to enhance his career by guiding the team to qualify to next year’s African Youth Championship slated for Algeria.

“This is the last qualifier so we need to win convincingly and we are working towards that”, Konadu said

“We will defend well not to concede a goal here and try to score more goals to make the return leg a mere formality.

We just hope everything will go well and I know the guys will make Ghana proud.”

The Black Satellites know failure to record a big win against their opponent could prove disastrous since the North African are side known for pulling fast ones on teams when they are playing in front of their home crowd.
