Sellas Tetteh says his side will beat Benin on Tuesday

Ghana coach Sellas Tetteh is confident his side will return to winning ways against Benin at the 2013 African Youth Championship.

The Black Satellites conceded a late penalty to lose 2-1 to Egypt on Saturday night in their opening Group A match at the Stade Omar Oussief in Ain Temouchemt, Algeria.

Ghana must beat their West African border neighbours-who drew 0-0 with hosts Algeria-on Tuesday to remain in the competition.

“We have two more matches to play so we will work towards that. What has passed is passed. We will just look at our weaknesses and strengths and work towards it,” Tetteh said.

Ghana need to finish as one of the top two sides in the Group to qualify for the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup in Turkey.

The 2009 African champions were eliminated at the Group stage at the last edition in South Africa.

  2. yes our youth players played very well but a tactical errors from our couch let us down…i believe by now he has realised where it went wrong for corrections to be made..Most of our players are so skillful on playing so i think Sellas should sit then down and talk to them how to captalise on that for scoring abilities.. i believe with these kinda intelegent players GH can go far..Sellas has made it happened before and i think it will happen again..God bless our homeland Ghana
