Ghana U20 coach Sellas Tetteh has lamented his side’s profligacy in the 2-0 semi-final defeat to Nigeria at the African Youth Championship.

The Black Satellites created a lot of scoring opportunities and dictated the pace of the game but lacked the cutting edge.

Talented midfielder Yaw Yeboah and Prosper Kassim had chances but fluffed their lines as the Flying Eagles scored in either half of the match.

Tetteh said in a post-match interview said: "I'm highly disappointed that we played all the good football but couldn't utilize the chances created.

"I believe we are on course and this is a preparatory ground for the WC so we will try hard there and do something better."

Ghana were seeking a fourth African youth title after losing out on penalties to Egypt at the last edition in Algeria two years ago.

The Black Satellites have already qualified for the 2015 FIFA World Cup in New Zealand this May.
