Ghana U20 captain Joseph Owusu Bempah is upbeat of his teamââ¬â¢s chances going into the African Youth Championships semi final clash against tournament favourites Nigeria.
The Black Satellites will be coming up against their West African rivals on Wednesday for a place in the finals of this yearââ¬â¢s tournament being staged in Senegal.
Sellas Tettehââ¬â¢s team however go into Wednesdayââ¬â¢s clash as the underdogs as they come up against a team that is yet to suffer a defeat at the tournament and has scored as many as nine goals already in the group phase.
Owusu Bempah remains unfazed by this daunting task â⬓ drawing inspiration from some of the shock results in world football.
ââ¬ÅWe will go back to training and work on our lapses for the next game,â⬠Bempah said after the defeat to Mali.
ââ¬ÅIt will be a tough game against a good Nigerian side but this is football and anything is bound to happen.ââ¬
