Ghana Under-20 captain Owusu Bempah admits his country has been handed a tough draw ahead of next year’s Africa Youth Championship but confident they can scale the hurdle.

The Black Satellites have drawn South Africa, Mali and Zambia in pool B.

The Ghanaians must negotiate the qualification at the expense of these stellar African teams and the Hearts defender is brimmed with confidence despite the difficult draw.

“They are all good teams but we have a formidable team and a strong technical team,” he said

“Our coach is more experience and has seen it before so it gives us confidence to work under him. I am very sure that my players and I will work as a team and make sure we qualify.”

The Black Satellites won bronze at the World Youth Championship in Turkey in 2013.
