Ghana U17 women's team pledge resounding win over Congo in World Cup qualifier
Black Maidens face Congo this weekend

Captain Amina Fuseini has assured of a resounding win when Ghana’s U17 women’s team host Congo Brazzaville in a World Cup qualifier on Sunday.

The Black Maidens are at home in the first leg of the first round qualifier for next year’s World Cup in Costa Rica.

The team is looking to qualify for their second straight finals following their heroics in the last edition where they emerged second runner’s up in Azerbaijan.

Team captain Fuseini is oozing with confidence ahead of Sunday’s game at the Accra Sports Stadium.

She told Ghanaians following a visit by Sports Minister Elvis Afriyie Ankrah her side is well prepared to dish out a resounding win over Congo.

“On behalf of my colleagues I would like to thank the minister for the visit,” she said.

“Congo is not a side to bother our mind. We are coming out on Sunday to beat them massively.

“So we are not bothered and we don’t care about the team their coming with.

“We are already prepared very and I have confidence in my colleagues that we are going to make it.”
