Ghana U17 coach thrilled with players positive attitude

Ghana U17 coach Ma-ud Didi Dramani has praised the positive attitude of his players after they dismantled Uruguay 5-0 in their second group D game at the FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup on Wednesday.
The dreams of the Africans to reach the knockout phase for the first time was kept alive as they made nonsense of the challenge of their South American opponent at the Dalga Arena in Baku.
A brace from captain Priscilla Okyere and a 25-yard cracker from Fatima Alhassan complimented the efforts of Janet Ayieyam and Albert Ahialey to complete the rout.
The Asante Kotoko trainer is relieved with the scoreline after they slumped to a 2-1 defeat against Germany in their opening encounter.
“”This match was very important for us. The win has put us in a good position to qualify for the next round – we needed to win at all costs,” Dramani said at the post match conference.
“ I am happy that my girls won, but I think there are still some things that need to be done.”
Ghana will meet China in a potential thriller on Sunday in a game that could decide which team qualifies to the last eight.
Well done girls for making us proud.I knew you will win because Suarez couldn‘t be around.go & show the Chinese the stuff you are made of.
