Under 20 world cup winning coach Sellas Tetteh, says he is not afraid of taking on Nigeria at the semi-final stage of the Africa Youth Championship in Senegal.

Ghana needed a draw to secure first place in Group B and avoid setting up a semi-final clash against Nigeria in the ongoing Africa Youth Championship.

They could however not manage that with an 18th minute header from Ichaka Diarra resigning Ghana to a defeat and second place in the group.

“I’m not disappointed with the outcome. I'm not afraid to face Nigeria in the semi-finals,” Sellas Tetteh said after the game

“At the beginning we were not fixed on playing a particular opponent.

“We will pick ourselves up and try to beat Nigeria, at this competition every game has its own realities.

“I made some changes to the team this is because each of the players has value and can play like the others on the bench.”
