Is kelvin an african? he will not even come 4 de award if he wins it! I did not understand ballack when he said boateng was too proud.!

  3. MUSAH says:

i really think its time for dede to be crowned king of africa.

  4. Reality says:

I think it will be wrong to award Kevin-Prince Boateng.
It is very clear he came to use Ghana as basis to win
back his football carrier and latter dump the nation.
Such players dont even deserve to be shortlisted.

I am a Ghanaian and i will want the award to go to
to a Ghanaian, but if it will be Kevin Boateng then
i will prefer the award going to another country.
I am sorry, but that is what i feel.

  5. kwame says:

    The final 3 will be;
    Samuel Eto
    Yaya Toure
    Andrew Ayew
and Yaya will take the trophy.

  6. He-goat says:

Yes this would show PKB that there is something good in Ghana. There is the saying that “you never know the value of something until you lose it”. I siad it last week that, Ghana is Ghana. It is the centre of the world and that all the good forces that hold the world together are in Ghana. Anybody who has an attachment to Ghana enjoys all the goodies that the good forces bestow on her. So KPB think twice and think well. A word to Ghanaba should be well taken.

  7. nab says:

Yes Yaya Toure will win the award. I think Andrew Ayew could also win but for Gyan i don’t think so.

  8. Agaga says:

Well I’m Ghanaian too but pls lets be truthful and factual. Asamoah Gyan will win this award hands down.
the final 3 will Andre Ayew, Asamoah gyan and Didier Drogba.

  9. Agaga says:

Well I’m Ghanaian too but pls lets be truthful and factual. Asamoah Gyan will win this award hands down.
the final 3 will be Andre Ayew, Asamoah gyan and Didier Drogba. As for K.P.B, the least said about him, the better for mother Ghana. He is nothing but a blast in his own face. Lets not waste our time discussing him again.

  10. CHENO says:

discipline and dedication is one of the criteria for the selection in to the continental awards but as it stand,Boateng falls outside this bracket. we have two ghanaians there. no wonder germany refused to invit him to their national team

  11. emanuelusa says:

i think andre ayew should win. but i have a feeling yaya will win. come on andre

  12. D LIGHT says:

Wat is Asamoah gyan’s name doin in there? Dis award are not for dancers, but for serious minded futballers who accepts challenges in tough leagues and also have the vision to live great legacies in the game as a roadmap and an inspiration to the younger ones.. Its very funny to hear him say his presence in the Uae wld inspire more futballer ply the league. I dont think any serious futballer @ 25 wld take such initiatives- the reason why carlos Tevez, Demba Ba and Gebriel cisse have refused more bumper Deals dan his to the UAE. SHOLA ameobi and ANELKA recently turned down many offer even @ their age. This gyan has no VISION, no Legacy and wld b Highly unfair to Award him as The King of Africa Football. I am Happy Dede Ayew isn’t a MEDIOCRITE like him. All the best!!!

  13. A B says:

Kpb should remove his hand on Asamoan in that picture GH does not need him.

  14. Basaven says:

What has Didier Drogba than between last year 2010 and this current year? CAF should sit up

  15. popetorcha says:

… what have KP done to ghanaians? the guy doesn’t want to play for the country and i think that decision shld be respected too …. we shld rather be talking about the musicians and the dancers in our team who play in lesser known leagues …. they come nd walk in games for $10000 for free…..{asamoah gyan} …. hmmmmm excluding the ayew’s for mutari nd co ….God have mercy ,,,,, KEVIN IS A TRUE GHANAIAN…

  16. OTIS FAD says:

What about those playing in the local leagues in our various African countries? I think the name should be change to European African player of the year.

  17. pee says:

srry people boateng didn’t say he has ritired frm the blckstars b’cuz he is nt fully fit to combine both teams otherwise he will fall in the state of micheal essien and we need to respect his decisions to stay away for a time been bt ghanaians have changed the issures all around i think tht is bad……b,cuz he said in his letter this way” According to Kevin, the physical demands of playing for both club and country at high levels are taking a toll on his health.

The player also explained that in order to remain healthy and stay off any injuries, he has consulted his doctors and family over the matter and has decided to take the decision to excuse himself from national duties since he is on a special training that he has to interrupt to honour national invitations.and also said in italian graphics tht he will nt be going to afcon b’cuz he is fit bt nt really fit to play fo both side…..so gh…….. plss we should mind wht we say and wht we dnt have to say ,kpb is fully ghanaian since he ws born by a gh….father ………he is a ghanaian….bt one thing is tht he was born in germany in this moment he is half —half so pls we shul rather pray for him and wish him strongly fit ….tht is the most important bt nt to talk, tht is the same thing tht micheal suffered from gh…. hands and right now where is essien lovelly ppl of ghana pls we shld behave like real ghanians bt nt fake ghanaians………..i’m done!!!!

  18. masani says:

wonders shall never end…dancers in lower league are in the shortlist.. whiles good players playing in africa ar not been shortlisted hmmmmmm, ayew did help Ghana n his club as well still playing better,Yayah toura fruitful for his club also help his country…those r the best players to be shortlisted added by Etoo but will be a marvel if he has been crowned again = 1/2-AYEW
    2/1-YAYAH
    3-ETOO

  19. nelly says:

pls gh !! let not conclude that way,kpb is a fine player who wish to play for gh but his fitness,as the saying goes in akan, honhom p3,nso honam no y3 mer3.And for your information my man Gyan is not a dancer but real footballer…he is just a fast man who think twice on his future

  20. jesse says:

Those calling Gyan a dancer and blah blah are a bunch of fools. At least Gyan has more goals in a World Cup tornament than Eto and Didier Drogba. All these guys played in better teams in Europe like the Chelsea,Inter,Barcelona and got better services to score.Gyan has played in the most poor teams like Sunderland with no better services and often playing as one man on top yet he manages to score goals. What did Eto couldn’t qualify his country to the previous world cup and this one.In the African cup he did nothing!!Fools here have to understand that when we say African player of the year, the onus should be basically what the player did for his national team and not his club where players are coming from different background.Gyan solely took the young black stars to the finals of the African cup in Angola and then took them to the quarters of the World cup!!Where was Eto and Drogba!!??Gyan is just a wise guy who made the right decision for his life so why all the hate???God bless you Baby Jet and keep doing your dancing and what you do!!
