Ghana coach Maxwell Konadu has revealed that he will settle on his final squad for the 2014 CHAN tournament after an international friendly this month.
The local Black Stars will face Mali on 22 December before embarking on a pre-tournament training camp.
Konadu wants to improve the squad which won the just ended 2013 2013 WAFU Nations Cup last month in Kumasi.
“We will be playing Mali here at the Accra sports stadium on December 22 and I think after that we will select the final team to go for the training tour, that is our programme for now,” Konadu told Joy FM
“Some few players will be invited and for me I would want to see them play against Mali because already with the WAFU and the experience we had there, we have seen some of the boys and what they can do.
“So the newly invited ones will play against Mali so we can just pick those we think can help Ghana.”
Ghana are in Group C together with Ethiopia, Libya and Congo and will be based in Bloemfontein.
