Ghana assistant coach Maxwell Konadu insists the technical team has in-depth knowledge on Egypt ahead of Tuesday's crucial 2014 World Cup playoff.

Ghana are hosting the seven-time African champions in the first leg of the epic tie at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on 15 October.

The Black Stars must make the home advantage count in the first leg by recording a massive win to effectively kill off the tie before the return encounter in November.

Konadu claims every vital detail on their overly regimented opponents has been covered.

"We know them very very well. We have watched the team on tape and have had private discussions with people who know them," Konadu said.

"We know the team better now than before and we don’t expect that what we know will change when they come here.

"So what we know so far, we will also prepare ourselves very well and put all the necessary strategies in place to outwit them on Tuesday."

Ghana are chasing a third successive World Cup appearance in next year’s edition to be staged in Brazil.
