Ghana-pursuit Karim Bellarabi scored in the 30th minute to inspire newly-promoted Braunschweig Eintracht to a 2-0 win over VfL Wolfsburg in the German Bundesliga on Saturday.
Braunschweig Eintracht had not manage victory over their bitterest rivals since 1985 in all competitions but on Saturday at the VOLKSWAGEN ARENA in Wolfsburg, Bellarabi who is a loanee from giants Bayer Leverkusen inspired them with an incensed cameo to record a remarkable win.
Swiss international Orhan Ademi tried an effort at goal which came off the body of Wolfsburg Mirko Boland and Bellarabi arrived just arrived in time to coolly prod the ball home to send the fans into ecstatic mood.
Bellarabi joined the newly-promoted side from Leverkusen and has played a key role in their campaign making six appearances and providing one assist.
Ghana have targeted the 23-year-old who has a partial Ghanaian parentage but has represented Germany at level.
