Prince Tagoe has denied retirement reports

Striker Prince Tagoe insists he has not retired from international football with Ghana.

The 27–year-old forward has revealed that he was misquoted in a recent interview and has no desire to hang up his boots, despite being unattached.

â€œI haven’t said anywhere that I have closed my doors on the Black Stars,” he told Accra-based Asempa FM.

“What you heard is a lie, a fabrication just to tarnish my image and to end my international career.”

The ex-Hearts of Oak striker is currently without a club after terminating his contract with Tunisian outfit Club Africain.

He has claimed there are a number of clubs in Europe and Asia chasing after his signature.
