Mathew Amoah played for Heerenveen in their match against Ajax youth on Monday night
Ghana striker Matthew Amoah has returned to action in Holland after a two-month injury-induced absence.
The Heerenveen attacker played for the youth side of his club on Monday as they held giants Ajax Amsterdam to a 1-1 draw.
He played the entire duration of the game which has cleared him for the club’s league match next week.
Amoah suffered a hamstring injury on 28 July in their friendly game against German side Cologne.
The striker insists he is fighting to return to the Black Stars.
