Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris came off the bench to help Spartak Moscow to book a narrow a 3-2 win over FK Krasnodar in the Russian Premier League on Wednesday.
Waris, who turned 22 last week, replaced Armenian forward Yura Movsisyan in the 74th minute and helped them to record their fourth straight win of the season.
Spanish playmaker Jurado netted the opening goal in the 4th minute before Movsisyan restored the lead on the 27th minute mark after Pereyra had cancelled out the lead.
Jurado scored the match winner in the half hour mark to keep Spartak joint-top on the league table.
The Black Stars forward came close to scoring the fourth goal for his side in the 83rd minute but his well-table effort came off a defender on the line.
