Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris has attracted interest from two French sides in the top-flight with other offers from from the top leagues of Europe, his agent has confirmed.

Offers are pouring in for the talented hit-man, who was part of Ghana's squad at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, thanks for his excellent showing in France last season.

Waris spent last season on loan at French side Valenciennes from Russian side Spartak Moscow and his performances looks to have attracted suitor in Europe.

French top-flight side Lens are among those rumoured to be interested in Waris but his agent says some other two clubs are interested in the Ghana star.

"We are aware of real interest from two Ligue 1 clubs, neither of which are Lens, but there is also interest outside of France," the player's agent, Phil Radley said

"If a club can agree a transfer fee with Spartak then discussions in respect of he player can take place."

Waris was the second highest scorer in the second round of the French top-flight last season.

A move out of Russia will boost his chances of making a huge name for himself as his time with the Moscow club has not been pleasant.
