Ghana striker Mahatma Otoo is set to play his first game for Sogndal this season following his return from injury.

The 23-year-old missed the start of the Norwegian second tier league due to a thigh injury which forced him out of Ghana’s friendly matches against Senegal and Mali last month.

Otoo has however returned to full scale training at his club and is now in the gunning to make his season debut when Sogndal hosts Honefoss on Sunday.

This will be a massive boost for the striker who is eager to make a case for himself at Sogndal in the Norwegian second tier league.

Sogndal ate currently sixth in the division having won their season opener against Baerum and drew away to Jerv last weekend.
