Jordan Ayew has been handed the no.3 jersey at Sochaux following his loan move from Olympique Marseille.

The Ghana striker officially completed the switch on Monday after passing a mandatory club medical.

Ayew, 22, will be wearing the no.3 jersey as he looks to improve on his personal form with regular games.

The Ghana international hopes to get enough games under coach Herve Renard in order to help lift the side from the drop zone in Ligue 1.

The move will also ensure that the son of Ghana legend Abedi Pele gets a favourable look in when the final Black Stars squad is being made for the World Cup in June.
