Ghana striker Gyan invites offers from interested clubs

Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan has invited offers from teams interested in him as he is uncertain about his future at Rennes but insists he is happy at the French club.

The 24-year-old has been linked with several clubs in Europe since his sterling performance at the 2010 World Cup this month.

His showing at the tournament in South Africa has attracted English side West Ham United as well as Spanish outfit Valencia.

But Turkish giants Fenerbahce seem to have the most serious offer to prise him away with a US$25m offer on the table but Rennes have not responded.

Despite being happy at Rennes, Gyan has invited interested clubs to make an offer to his French employers for him to move.

"I am happy to be at Rennes, where the coach likes me," Gyan told the French newspaper L’equipe.

"I do not know yet what my future holds. I did a good job at the World Cup.

“For now, I don't care if I'm going to change club. If a club is interested, all they have to do is make an offer to Rennes."

The Ghanaian striker has become one of the most sought after players in the world after his three goals steered his country to the quarter finals of the World Cup.

He scored 13 goals for Rennes last season even though his season was interrupted by some injuries.
