Ghana striker David Accam is in no rush to leave Swedish side Helsingborg following growing report over his future.

The 23-year-old is wanted by a number of clubs including some in England and Germany.

The Ghanaian international has scored nine goals so far for his Swedish side and says he’s not in rush to leave since he’s still young.

“If only I had been looking to live and play anywhere, I had already left. But one must be sure to go to the right place to further develop and thrive,” Accam said

“Maybe I'm a little disappointed, but I'm still here and have a contract with Helsingborg.

“I do not know what the future holds. I have a contract and playing well is the only thing that matters.

“I feel I'm ready for bigger leagues, but if not the best is yet come, there is no reason to rush. I am still young and can learn a lot.”

Accam was a member of Ghana’s provisional squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
