Ghana striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom is set to face disciplinary action at Spanish side Elche FC after he returned late from the Christmas holiday break.
The 20-year-old Juventus loanee was supposed to travel back to Spain last week to begin preparations with Elche ahead of the resumption of the league but he only travelled back this week.
Elche manager Fran Escribá and his technical team was expecting the 2013 Ghana U20 World Cup striker back in camp ahead of their crucial La Liga clash against Barcelona but he failed to show up.
Boakye could lose his place in the Elche team for the Barcelona clash and also face financial ramifications for his actions.
