Ghana striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom has joined Spanish club Elche on loan from Juventus.

The 20-year-old moves to the newly promoted La Liga side in pursuit of regular first team action.

Boakye-Yiadom returned to the Italian champions this summer after spending last season on loan at Sassuolo where he helped the side win promotion to Serie-A.

His return has however been saddled with big name arrivals in the persons of Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente – ensuring the Ghana striker drops further down the perking order at the Italian champions.

He has now been farmed out on loan to Elche in a deal reportedly worth 250,000 Euros.

The Ghana international joined Juventus at the beginning of last season in a co-ownership deal from Genoa.

He scored 11 goals last term to help Sassuolo qualify to play in this year’s Serie-A.
