Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan continued with his impressive pre-season form by scoring the only goal for Al Ain in their final friendly game of their training camp in Austria against Raja de Casablanca.

The Black Stars captain who was just playing his second pre-season game for the Boss scored in the 85th minute to clinch the win for his side in the game played in Logan.

Gyan returned late to the club’s pre-season activities following an extensive holiday break in his native Ghana after the 2014 World Cup.

He was therefore exempted from playing in the early friendly matches as he was deemed not fit enough and was placed in a special training program.

But the 28-year-old is already proving his sharpness ahead of the start of the new season after scoring in his first pre-season game in the win over Al Wahda.

He has followed it up with another goal in just his second pre-season game.

It was the final game for the UAE giants as they bring an end to their 12-day pre-season camp in the Austrian city of Logan.

Zlatko Dalic side will now return to Abu Dhabi to fine tune their preparations ahead of their crunch Asian Champions League clash against Al Ittihad on August 19.
