Gyan has scored four goals in two matches for Al Ain this season

Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan has taken his tally to four goals in two matches in the UAE top-flight after scoring twice on Friday.

Gyan’s early brace helped Al-Ain secure their first win of the new UAE League season with a 4-1 away triumph over Ajman in their second game of the season.

This means Gyan is one of the two leading scorers in the league as Brazilian Grafite of Al Ahli has also scored four goals so far this season.

Founeke Sy halved the deficit in the 18th minute after Gyan’s double, but further goals either side of half-time from Mosallem Faiz and Mohammed Abdulrahman clinched a comfortable victory for the visitors.

Dubai SC also picked up three points on the road – to go top of the fledgling standings – but needed a late winner from Richard Candelaresi to claim a 3-2 success after relinquishing a two-goal advantage at Al-Sha’ab.

graphite is a veRY GOOD, EFFICIENT STRIKER. THE PROBLEM WITH GYAN IS STRENGTH. HE NEEDS TO HIT THE WEIGHTS N STRENGTHEN HIS PHYSICAL FRAME. LOOK AT GRAPHITE. THE GUY IS SOLID PHYSICALLY AND CAN PLAY . GYAN MUST USE SOME OF HIS MONEY N GET HIMSELF A WEIGHT TRAINER TO HELP HIM. INFACT, ALL GBSTAR PLAYERS MUST LIFT METAL.

I hope no one wld dare compare Gyan to Grafite cos the Latter is far potent dan d Former wen it cams to the ‘Art of scoring Goals’. It wld just b like comparing ‘Charcoals’ to ‘Diamonds’! Grafite may b in the Twilight of his career (34) , but he wld outshine, outmuscle n outscore the mediocre who is in d Lamlight of his career (26). Those who know the Game understands wat i’m talking abt.
