Ghana striker Dominic Adiyiah grabbed the winner for his Ukrainian side Arsenal Kiev as they beat their rivals Volyn in the Ukrainian top-flight league match on Saturday.

The hard working striker's 53rd minute effort sealed the victory for Arsenal Kiev who are battling against relegation.

The 2009 FIFA U20 World Cup top scorer and Most Valuable Player was handed a starting role by coach Ury Balakov as a right winger which worked effectively.

Arsenal Kyiv were shocked by the visitors who took the lead through their Nigerian striker Michael Babatunde.

But Kravets restored parity for the home side in the 52 minute before the Ghana international Adiyiah found the net a minute later to secure the important victory.

The victory moves Arsenal Kyiv to 13th in the 16-team Ukrainian Premier League table.
