Ghana youth striker Maxwell Boadu Acosty became a father on Thursday after his Italian girlfriend gave birth to a bouncy baby boy.

The baby, born in Firenza, has been named Sebastian Boadu Acosty.

His girlfriend, Ludovica Guiso, delivered around 15:40 GMT at the Hospital de Ponte Niccheri at Firenze.

Acosty’s Juve Stabia team-mate Daniel Kofi Agyei and his friend Mirko Barbero were present at the hospital to welcome the new born boy.

“I’m the happiest man on the earth now because my wife delivered a lovely baby boy for me,” he told Ghanasoccernet.com.

He is on a season-long loan spell with Serie B side Juve Stabia from Fiorentina.
