In-form Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris has revealed his strong admiration for South American duo Sergio Aguero and Luis Suarez.

Waris has hit top form ever since moving to French Ligue 1 side Valenciennes in January on-loan from Spartak Moscow.

The 22-year-old has scored scoring 4 goals in eight league games.

The former Hacken star forward has earned rave reviews for his explosive displays and he taking tips from his role models who play in the English League is making him a better player.

“Aguero (Manchester City), Suarez (Liverpool) are players that I observe a lot. Physically, they are a bit like me and we play the same position, so they can try to inspire me,” Waris said.

“They are players that are concerned about helping their team they run and chase everything that’s more like me.”

Waris has been named in Ghana’s squad to face Montenegro on Sunday in a pre-World Cup friendly on Wednesday.
