Sulley Muntari is keen to remain at Milan

Ghana international midfielder Sulley Muntari is keen to sign an extension contract with Italian giants AC Milan, according to his agent.

The 30-year-old has hit a rich vein of form for the Rossoneris since the start of the season, scoring twice in five games for Fillipo Inzaghi's side.

Muntari, who has been linked with a return to the English Premier League, has two years left on his current Milan contract but his agent Federico Pastorello has revealed the controversial midfielder is keen to sign an extension contract at Milan.

"Muntari wants to stay at Milan for long. His current contract expires in 2016, but there is enough to discuss about his potential renewal with AC Milan," He told togianlucadimarzio.com.

"Muntari is a delighted man. He is very happy with how things are going in the Rossoneri shirt. He was a bit sad initially because the last few draws, but now, after returning to victory, he is delighted," Pastorello continued.

"Muntari renewed his contract last season because he was doing fine here. There was interest from other teams, but he refused to listen to those proposals. He really wanted to stay at Milan and the company was very happy to keep it."

Muntari joined AC Milan from City rivals Inter Milan in January 2012 and has established himself at the San Siro scoring important goals for the club.
