Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng suffered some injuries after being physically attacked on the streets in Germany on Christmas Day following an altercation in Kaarst which has sparked a police investigation.

'The man was mildly injured. Criminal investigators have begun their work.'

Bild has reported Boateng had visited his son at his ex-wife's house on Christmas Day, was hit once and fell onto a vase.
