Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has hailed England’s qualification to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
The Three Lions secured their place at next year’s tournament after beating Poland 2-0 at Wembley on Tuesday.
The Ghanaian international, who represented England at the youth level, has praised the team for their feat.
“Congrats England on qualifying for the [World Cup],” he tweeted.
The 21-year-old Arsenal star was an unused substitute during Ghana’s 6-1 win over Egypt in a first leg tie of the World Cup play-off on Tuesday.
