Ghana superstar Andre Ayew says Black Stars coach Avram Grant has whipped the four-time African champions into shape and he is confident the Israeli will lead the side to more successes in future.

The Marseille play-maker insists the former Chelsea manager can lead the Black Stars to win titles after steering the side to the final of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations at the first attempt.

The Israeli is plotting his next line of action in the qualifiers for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations by monitoring players abroad.

Ayew, who is the Black Stars assistant captain, hailed the impact of Grant insisting he can do more to improve the prospects of the Ghana national team.

“I think the gaffer has done a great job since he came in. He has brought a lot to the team and can bring a lot for the future,” Ayew said.

“He is learning the African style. He is also a very good person. From what I have seen I am very impressed. We can progress under him,” he added.

The Black Stars will start their next campaign in the qualifiers for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations next month.

Ghana have been drawn in the same group as Mauritius, Mozambique and Rwanda.

Their first assignment in the group will be on the weekend of June 12-14.
