The 2015 Africa Cup of Nations draw planned for early next month could dish up some mouthwatering matches.

The four Pots have been finalised with some strong teams in all of them.

Bafana Bafana, for example, topped Group A and went unbeaten through six matches. But the fact that they have appeared in just one of the last three AFCON tournaments (2013, as hosts) means they have not earned a favourable seeding. They are in Pot 3.

Hosts Equatorial Guinea, 2013 Afcon runners-up Burkina Faso, the 2012 Afcon champions Zambia and regular contenders Ghana are the four top seeded teams making up Pot 1.

Pot 2 consists of Cote d’Ivoire, Tunisia, Mali and Algeria.

South Africa are in Pot 3 alongside Gabon, Cape Verde and DR Congo while Pot 4 contains Senegal, Guinea, Congo and Cameroon.

Each of the four groups at the 2015 finals will contain one team from each of the four pots.

The draw for the finals takes place in Equatorial Guinea’s capital Malabo on December 3.

Pot 1: Equatorial Guinea, Ghana, Zambia, Burkina Faso Pot 2: Cote d'Ivoire, Tunisia, Mali, Algeria Pot 3: Cape Verde, South Africa, Gabon, DR Congo Pot 4: Senegal, Guinea, Congo, Cameroon
