Defender David Addy has made a return to the Black Stars for the crucial 2014 World Cup qualifier against Egypt.
Ghana will host the record African Cup winners in the first leg of the final round of qualifiers for next year’s World Cup in Brazil on October 15 at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
Addy, 23, is being rewarded with a return to the Black Stars following consistent displays for his club Vitoria Guimaraes in the Portuguese top flight.
The ex Ghana U20 youth star has been out of the Black Stars for over a year now.
His last involvement with the team was in a friendly match against Cape Verde towards the 2013 Nations Cup last year.
Addy is hugely tipped to start for Ghana against Egypt with regular Harrison Afful out due to suspension.
