The last time Asante Kotoko drew its week 2 match was in 2003 when they were held to a 1 – 1 draw game by Goldfields. On match day three, Asante Kotoko beat Faisal by 1 – 0 away, thanks to Isaac Boakye’s 56th minutes goal.

Lions have scored a total of 264 goals out of a total 274 matches since their entry into the premier league in 2003.

Hearts of Lions first goal in the premier league was scored by Amenu Komla a 79th minutes consolation in their 1 – 4 loss to King Faisal on week one of the 2003 premier league.

Medeama first premier league goal against All stars came from Emmanuel Dogbe in a 2 – 2 pulsating draw at the Essipong stadium on Sunday, 5th December, 2010. The goal came in the 8th minute. Frank Sarfo Gyamfi’s equalizer 4 minutes later was All stars first premier league goal against Medeama.

Medeama 2 – 2 All stars (Emmanuel Dogbe 8th, Hans Kofie 90th for Medeama, Sarfo Gyamfi 12th and Fatau Mohammed 53rd for All stars).

All stars 1 – 1 Medeama (Frank Sarfo Gyamfi 88th for All stars, Louis Agyeman 15th for Medeama).

Louis Agyeman’s opener was his second consecutive goal for Medeama after he joined them from Kotoko.

2011/2012

Medeama 1 – 2 All stars (Louis Agyeman 49th, for Medeama, Joshua Otoo 20th , Adinan Saeed 24th for All stars).

Medeama’s coach, Bashiru Hayford was made to proceed on leave for 35 days by the clubs management. Wa All stars got all two goals from their two lateral defenders Joshua Otoo and Adinan Saeed respectively.
