Sekondi Hasaacas jumped to second place after posting a 2-0 win over Aduana Stars at the Essipong Stadium.
The first goal was a simple tap-in from veteran striker Frederick Quayson on 33 minutes thanks a lofty corner-kick from Emmanuel Ankobeah.
Right-back Amos Korankye doubled the lead on 62 minutes when his belter of a free-kick from 30 metrres beat goalkeeper Stephen Adams, the Aduana Stars goalkeeper.
Hasmal are tied on ten points with Aduana but will lie above their guests on the league table courtesy Wednesday afternoon’s win.
