Ghana players unhappy over 'unfair' FIFA boardroom points to Zambia

Black Stars players including Kwadwo Asamoah are unhappy over FIFA's decision
Ghana players are unhappy over FIFA’s decision to strip Sudan of a win over Zambia for fielding an ineligible player in a 2014 World Cup qualifier, the country’s FA chief has revealed.
Zambia were third in Group D prior to the ruling on three points, level with second placed Ghana and one less than Sudan after two matches played.
On the back of the FIFA ruling against Sudan, African champions Zambia are now top of their qualifying group for Brazil 2014 on six points, three more than closest rivals Ghana.
Sudan are furious over the award of three boardroom points to Zambia insisting FIFA or CAF did not notify them of defender Saifeldin Ali Idris suspension as required by law.
Their view is shared by players of the Black Stars who think the field must be level for all countries as the fight to on the pitch to get point represent African at the World Cup.
Then in June, the two-time World Cup representatives in 2006 and 2010, travel to Khartoum to play the Nile Crocodiles in the return leg before a visit to Lesotho.
Sudan featured Saifeldin in a 2-0 win over Zambia in a Group D qualifier on June 2 in Khartoum.
Saifeldin was earlier suspended in his last competitive match prior to that game following his sent-off at the 2012 Africa Cup in a 3-0 quarterfinal loss Zambia on February.

By God’s order we are free moral agents. Unfortunately other people abuse that gift and that is what is on display here. This display is of individuals that are guided and influenced by may factors. This is not the way to go. For Ghana, you have a lesson to learn, humility. You may have the best of the team but there is time and chance for everyone.

Wsit s minute isn’t there a Ghanain player recently signed to TP Mazembe? For your own info TP Mazembe is a force to reckon with both locally and internationally. Remember is it the only African team to reach the finals of the world club championship. The players are motivated with good salaries and conditions and most have opted to stay there rather than play in Europe like Tresor Mputu for example. Is very disgraceful to hear our FA president and players complaining about the Zambian boardroom points. Listen rules/regulation and laws are made to obey,if you violate it then you have to pay the penalty. Come on now,let`s assume Zambian used unqualified player when they beat us on their soil, wouldn`t we protest against it? Wouldn`t we request for 3 points? Come on all the countries in the world have signed the terms and conditions that pertain to using unqualified players,so if you breach/violate what you signed then you have to pay for it. I recall GSN published an article stating that the So-Called unqualified player warn his country (Sudan) Football Association that he is not qualified to play but yet the country deliberately used him. If this was a civil court case,i would have charged and convicted Sudan on 3 counts. 1) for violating the footballing law of not using unqualified player and 2) for refusing to obey the unqualified player who knows he is not qualified to play due to suspension or whatever. and 3) The Sundanese FA is obviously aim to cheat for knowing he is not qualified and he will definitely score. The third charge is a heavy one bcos is conspiracy to use Weapon of Mass Destruction to win a match. The player in question truly scored a goal so is a plan. If i am a judge i therefore will give not only 3points to Zambia but 6points and the 2nd Leg between the 2 coutries will not be played anymore due to the nature of their deliberate criminal act by the Sudanese FA.
The winners of the 10 groups will be paired through balloting & the winner over 2 legs will go to the WC.So whoever qualifies from our group is now going to the WC automatically.

The points shouldn’t be given to anybody, but the match should be re-played and Sudan should foot the bill of the Zambian’s travel, feeding and hotel and monetary compensation. Period.

I think the proper punishment would have been to have the teams replay that game but allow it to be played where and when Zambia wants it played. I think that is the best way to settle these type of situations. At this stage, giving any team a free win or free loss is not representative of the level of play. Zambia is better than Sudan but can Zambia honestly say that they would have won if Sudan did not use that particular player? Should they really have a 3 point advantage over Ghana at this point? I think the punishment for Sudan was too harsh. One should have to earn it on the field.

Friends, i think we seem to get this soccer battle into something beyond normal sport discussion. The insult that we are throwing at each other do not reflect both Zambians and Ghanian people. I know we have issues in as far as our two teams are concern. These issues of patriotism should not result in insults. What we need to raise are issues of substance and ultimately, we should remember that Ghanians and Zambians are one people ( African United). Realistically, rules were not oberseved by Sudans brothers and it’s unfortunate that while Implementing these rules, other teams will be affected unfavourable. Honestly, Fifa’s decision makes it difficult for Ghana to qualify and we hear you Ghanians especially that this favours your strongest opponent in this group-Zambia.
