Ghana will play Uganda at home in their opening 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on 6 September.

The Black Stars last played the Cranes in 2005 at the Baba Yara Stadium in the second stage of the 2006 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Kwesi Appiah’s side must dust themselves off a disappointing campaign at the 2014 World Cup finals to face Milutin Sredojevic’s charges who qualified at the weekend after eliminating Mauritania.

Four days after the match, Ghana will travel to neighbouring Togo for their second Group match on 10 September.

The final match to end the first round will see the Black Stars play Guinea on Conakry on 11 October before hosting the Syli Nationale in the corresponding fixture after four days

In November, the four-time African champions will travel to Kampala to face Uganda and then return home to face Togo.

The Group winner will advance to finals of the tournament in Morocco which will run from 17 January to 8 February 2015.
