Ghana to play Sierra Leone next month in Africa U20 Championship qualifier

Ghana’s U20 will play Sierra Leone next month in the 2015 Africa Youth Championship second qualifying round match.

The Black Satellites drew the Shooting Stars who eliminated the Petit Syli Nationale of Guinea by beating them home and away for a 2-0 aggregate win.

The three-time African champions will travel for the first leg between the weekend of 9-11 May, 2014.

The return leg will be played at the Tamale Stadium on 25 May.

If they advance, the Satellites will meet the winner of the second round contest between Gabon and Rwanda.

Senegal will host 2014 Africa Youth Championship between 8-22 March next year.

The semi-finalists from the eight-nation tournament will qualify to the 2015 FIFA U20 World Cup in New Zealand.
