Ghana midfielder Rabiu Mohammed says he has no plans of moving from Kuban Krasnodar despite the long winter break in the Russian top flight.
Some Ghanaian players have already secured January moves in order to remain fit and competitive with the World Cup drawing closer.
Striker Abdul Majeed Waris has just secured a loan move to French club Valenciennes from Spartak Moscow due to the long winter break in the Russian league.
It was therefore expected that Rabiu â⬓ who has just returned from injury â⬓ will make a similar move to prove his fitness before the resumption of the league.
But the 24-year-old chooses to remain with Kuban where he wants to prove himself following his summer arrival from Evian TG.
ââ¬ÅNo, there is no loan move for me,â⬠he told GHANAsoccernet.com.
ââ¬ÅI will wait to train with them [Kuban] since I didnââ¬â¢t do pre-season training with them.
ââ¬ÅThat will put me in a better position to do better when the league resumes.ââ¬
Rabiu made four starts for the Russian club before suffering an injury which kept him out of Ghanaââ¬â¢s vital 2014 World Cup playoffs against Egypt.
