Ghana youth midfielder Derrick Mensah wants to emulate the example of former Liverpool star Milan Baroà ¡ at Czech Republican side BanÃk Ostrava.
Mensah, 18, has spent just under three months at Ostrava and plays along with Baroà ¡ at the club as the 32-year-old has returned to the club where he played his first professional football in 1998.
The Czech Republican lifted the 2005 Uefa Champions League with Liverpool, played at the 2006 World Cup and has won several medals with different club.
Mensah, a former Tema Youth player, is hoping to learn as much as he can from the ex-Galatasaray forward.
"It means a lot to me, first of all playing alongside him is a big motivation for me, he also adds a big experience in terms of advice as in what to do and what not to do on and off the field,," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.
"He also inspires me and in it tells me how I can make it if I work hard because I watched and supported him and now im playin with him."
The youngster is en route to full recovery from an ankle injury he suffered last month while in action for Ostrava. He is at the club along with 2013 Ghana U20 attacker Francis Narh.
