Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah doubtful for Nigeria friendly

Kwadwo Asamoah has a knee problem which could prevent him from playing
Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah is highly doubtful for their friendly against Nigeria on Tuesday, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
His sour knee injury seems to be worrying which has prompted him to ask the Black Stars coach Goran Stevanovic to excuse him from the game to enable him to recover well.
But Ghana doctors have asked him to report at the team camp for them to examine the problem at first hand.
The Italy-based midfielder was not in action for his club Udinese when they played Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon over the weekend.
A nagging knee injury kept him out of action as Udinese warmed up for the Champions League clash with Arsenal by beating Sporting Lisbon on penalties.
His Ghana team-mate Agyemang Badu was in full time action for Udinese as they won the match against the Portuguese side.
