Italian giants Juventus have finally completed the signing of talented Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.

The Italian champions sealed a three-year deal with the Udinese player on Monday on night in a deal worth US$11m.

Juventus confirmed the double signing of Udinese midfielders Mauricio Isla and Asamoah, both on co-ownership agreements.

"Juventus and Udinese have signed a player sharing agreement related to Kwadwo Asamoah for a consideration of € 9 million to be paid by Udinese in 3 years," a statement from Juventus read.

Terms for such a deal were reached a few weeks ago, with both versatile midfielders then soon after having medicals in Turin.

But the move delayed because of long drawn-out negotiations with Udinese over his transfer sum and terms of agreement.

The Bianconeri have now confirmed both players’ arrivals at the club, with the finer points to the transfers.

For 50 per cent of 24-year-old Isla's contract, Juve have paid $11.5m, whilst 50 per cent of 23-year-old Asamoah’s registration has cost them $11m.

Also as part of the deal, youngster Cristian Pasquato has moved in the opposite direction on a co-ownership basis, for a fee of $2.3m.

Asamoah is the second Ghanaian to play for the Old Lady, after Stephen Appiah.

The midfielder, a key member of the Udinese side that finished third in Serie A this campaign, attracted interest from around Europe including clubs like Manchester United.

However, Juventus have stolen a march on their rivals in the chase for the signature of the Ghanaian player.

He scored three goals in 31 league appearances to help his team finish third in Serie A.
