Kevin Boateng will undergo surgery on his fractured hand

By Patrick Akoto

AC Milan have confirmed midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng will undergo surgery on his right hand on Monday.

The 25-year-old picked up the injury during Milan’s 3-1 victory at Bologna on Sunday.

The retired Ghana international will be assessed by doctors after he fractured the metacarpal in his right hand.

But the former Portsmouth enforcer is expected back for Milan’s next game against Atalanta on September 16.
